Hi,
I don't know how the tv code works, but  at first look I had the impression that it always 
outputs uncompressed video, instead dvb cards output mpeg transport streams  at 
variable resolution and bitrate (a real problem if you tried the patch).

Aren't they too different to coexist in the same structure?

A problem I have is that when I change channel and one of those parameters change, 
the codec hangs, so I guess I should reinitialize it without reinitializing the demuxer and 
the stream, but I didn't figure how to do it yet.

Any hint?
