Hi, 

Small question: Are the values always moved according to the same
pattern or does the pattern change over time.

If it doesn't change just create a fix index vector to reorder the
values. If they change check how many iterations are necessary before
the pattern is repeated, then create several index matrixes.

Once you have the index vector(s) it is probably possible to find some
algorithm which operates on bit level to find the next index.
