i have sent a big patch for xvid some times ago, when 0.90 rc4 came out..  
wich fixes therse bug and add support for all dev-api-3 feature..  
i sent it 2 times and no one apllied it.....

i'm working with XVID team and we have wrote a vd_xvid and ve_xvid working 
with dev-4-api. we have it working, but we'll wait post it until 
xvid_dev_4_api will become standard api
