You seems to treat vhq / hqacpred a lot differently than what the VfW
code does. Any reason for doing so ?

The VfW code use a hq_mode variable (off, mode decision, limited
search, medium search, wide search) and then puts *_BITS flags into
enc_frame.motion according to this "hq_mode" selector. This way we can
adjust HQ power independantly.

Not related, but the "hinted_me / hint_file" options should be
deleted, the whole idea is bogus according to some past discussions on
xvid-dev at . (lumi-masking might go too).
