Hi,
I uploaded in incoming/MergingMpgs three files: 1.mpg and 2.mpg have
different resolution and bitrate, but same codecs, 3 the is
concatenation of them.
the good news is that libmpeg2 can play 3.mpg, but at the change of
stream the output is totally garbled;
ffmpeg12 at the change shows no video.
If you invert the files so that the one with smaller resolution comes
before the other, then libmpeg2 segfaults and recovers, but the output
is still a mess.
Furthermore, is seems that two different versions of mplayer (both from
recent cvs) behave differently: the most recent crashes in decode_video.
