The xvidix driver gets bad colour map in some files. This was fixed for the ones I had some time ago, but it seems some others still cause the problem. The file is in ftp://mplayerhq.hu/incoming/BadColourMap.Vidix.RadeonVEQY.mov When the CVS vidix.c is updated, I'll test it at home.
