[MPlayer-dev-eng] Still cannot find Xvid 1.0 on Mac OS X...

All I was saying was that even though it says that it couldn't find 
symbols for timer.o, it still worked at updating the file 
(libxvidcore.a). Did you try rerunning the configure script after you 
used ranlib?
