[MPlayer-dev-eng] [BUG] (?) Auto-Conversion filter mono to stereo

Hi,

when I played some 8kHz mono quicktime pr...samples yesterday I noticed that 
mplayer was autoconverting the stream from mono to stereo, is this intended?
I'd be fine with having it in mono (soundcard will auto-mix it to both chans 
then).

I'm not sure this is a bug, so I didn't include all the bugreport stuff for 
now...
