[MPlayer-dev-eng] Does this option exist

Well, this option does not exist, because there is no such autosave
feature. 

As for gmplayer, yes it does have this feature and yes it should imho
stay there (gmplayer is for DAUs who dont want to memorize cryptic
comandline options, remeber ?).

If you just want to play a file, use mplayer w/o gui.
