Subject: Re: [Mplayer-advusers] RealMedia out of sync,
plays fine with RealPlayer8/Linux
I have uploaded two additional RealMedia problem files. I uploaded the
files as a tar file rm-problem.tar.
The first one is out of sync. The complete file was 20 mpegs so I used dd
to cut in down to 3 mpegs. I also included the first minute of the video
as an mpeg file which I created by transcoding the video by means of a
VCR. It seams that even the real player has some problems as plays a
bunch of frames real fast before the audio gets in sync.
Mplayer can't find the framerate for the second one as it complains with
"FPS not specified in the header or invalid, use the -fps option". When I
use the -fps it works but I have no idea what the framerate should be.
Like the first this one was also truncated to 3 mpegs. I also included an
mpeg of this one.
If the videos play fine for you let me know and I will go through the
trouble to create a "proper" bug report.
