The correct link to xmms-embedded (xmms-qtopia might be the old name) is

is also correct for _mplayer_ (not xmms-embedded) , it has not been updated 
for some time, but I contacted the author (he might be reading this list) and 
he will update it afaik.

for the most up to date binary for Zaurus (and might not break ipaqs either), 
it  would be the ipk package feed at 
http://www.openzaurus.org/official/unstable/feed/
