yes, since i was mpg123 developer for a while, years ago...

i hate debian, and i don't use it for that reason :)

i've tried with this, from slackware 8.0 package:
Version 0.59r (1999/Jun/15). Written and copyrights by Michael Hipp.
and also:
Ampg123 v0.1 (C) 1998-2000 A'rpi/ESP-team and mpg123 developers.
Usage: mp3 file1.mp3 [file2..]
