  In my project we have some linux ports of some of the dscaler filters,
and can now load dscaler filter dlls directly as well.  All of the
DScaler filters are written strictly for YUY2 input (Y'CbCr 4:2:2 packed
format).  I have an API for a library to use them in tvtime, but I'm
working to make the API a little more general so we can also include
algorithms that can act on the individual planes as well.

  If anyone here is interested in helping clean up the API a little we
can move more quickly towards sharing code.
