"make docs" generates the documentation, but at the moment it's mostly
intended for developers, documenting the classes etc.
The font size is currently hardcoded in rve.cc (look for the calls to
the text_* functions).

Yup, I noticed and fixed the .*.dep problem yesterday, but it's only in
my unreleased development version.
I expect to start using CVS some time next month when the project has
stabilized a bit -- right now I'm renaming, adding and removing files on
a daily basis, that's a pain with CVS.

I'm afraid that would require quite tight sync between the text and the
image, and bmovl doesn't allow that easily. But wouldn't karaoke be
possible by just writing a sub file (e.g. in mpsub format) and using
that?
