[MPlayer-dev-eng] gmplayer, gui is blank

I did test this out on my machine. If I go to 24bit mode gmplayer show up just 
fine. Going back to 16bit mode makes gmplayer have a black ui. Any idea why 
this would happen? I would think that the gui should show up in 16 or 24bit 
mode.
