Arpi dislikes style guidelines and has refused them in the past.  Now
that he has stepped down as maintainer and explicitly encouraged the
rest to take MPlayer in a new direction, this is probably a point
worth revisiting.  The documentation has a few unwritten style rules
and even a few written ones.
