In fact i have some other plan for such a feature. The problem imho with
such approch is that it's too device specific. As you said dvd have a
similar needs but there is also some formats (ogg afaik) that support
'chapter list'.
So i rather want to implement some thing at the stream/demuxer level
to make all these report there 'chapter list' and make the menu use
that.
