There's no known defect in gcc 3.2.3 regarding AltiVec. Unfortunately
debugging mplayer is such a PITA that I cannot figure out why and
where it crashes; With optimisation the frame pointers are so garbled 
that one can't tell which function the SEGV happened in (decode_video)
and without it doesn't crash.
