[MPlayer-dev-eng] Altivec and Linux (again)

Hi guys,

What is happening with the Altivec patch I sent?

There was some noise on the list about libmpeg2 - was it memory 
corruption, or? Someone complained on libmpeg2 beeing out of sync 
or something. Is that the reason for not applying my patch?

Jens Axboe tested the patch and it worked out great for him.
And it works great here for me too.

Please apply or tell me a good reason why Altivec should be
broken under Linux.
