[MPlayer-dev-eng] Using dmo and dshow loaders for a Windows Media Encoder.

I have looked a litle around the MPlayer source code and was wondering 
how hard it would be to use the parts of the code that enables you to 
use Windows codecs and Windows Media in a different context.
What I was thinking was to do encoding of Windows Media on a Linux 
machine or other operating systems, would this be possible to do using 
parts of the MPlayer code??
