OK. I won't commit this, but it's not solved with just addding
  && priv->current->show .
There were some problems with such solution (at least for me).
Try this (with you suggestion): go to menu, pause, unpause, exit from
 menu, wait for some time (for the scene change), then pause.
Surprise! The image will change to one, which was when you paused from
menu :)
