I would change this to:
-1: no
0: autodetect
1: yes

This way we are able to add additional levels of yes and no, w/o
breaking the already implented behaviour or the need to patch the
whole code.

Why do you use DBG3 as level ? If i understood that part right, it's
only printed once, thus could be DBG2 or even V.
