Same file, latest mplayer and libavcodec on linux: 
mplayer: h264.c:2021: hl_motion: Assertion `((mb_type)&(0x0008|0x0010|0x0020|
0x0040))' failed.

Program received signal SIGABRT, Aborted.

More info can be provided if needed.
