[MPlayer-dev-eng] Re: Problem with opening URL's

This is caused by the problem explained in 
http://mplayerhq.hu/pipermail/mplayer-users/2003-December/040344.html

After applying the patch suggested in the above e-mail
to MPlayer dev-CVS-040201-12:56-3.3.2 I have
verified that the stream you mentioned plays
correctly. 

Is this going to get addressed soon? There seem to 
be several messages per day on mplayer-users which
can be traced to this problem.
