And previously replied by me without any further reaction.  I'll quote
the text, it is still valid:

  This is a patch to an imported library...  Did you also send this
  patch to the libdvdread authors?  It would make syncing in the
  future easier.

It would be good if you could try to push this upstream, if the
libdvdread authors apply it, we will apply it for sure.  We might
apply it nevertheless, but it's better if it goes back to the original
lib.  Also try if newer libdvdread still has this problem, maybe it
got fixed in a more recent version.
