I've applied the patches to mplayer 1.0rc4, and put them at:

http://www.bcgreen.com/linux/MPlayer-1.0pre4s.tar.bz2

the source rpm is at:
http://www.bcgreen.com/linux/mplayer-1.0pre4-5.src.rpm

I'm building the binary RPM under fc2, and may also build one for RH9
