That code is completely apple-gcc centric, I'm trying to just replace 
the (vector int)([values]) with the AVV() macro keeping the rest, still 
I'd like to know if those casts are really necessary on apple-gcc or 
could be removed at once. gcc-fsf does not require such casts.
