I've tried to prod Rich into applying/rejecting this, but he never got
around to doing it and his only point was that the implementation was a bit
naive since logos etc can touch the chroma plane as well.

IMHO this filter should be called lumrect or even lumarect or lumarectangle.
The name is quite misleading otherwise, a box is a three-dimensional object.
