Ok so lets have a look at kde3.2.2 ;)
When started without fullscreen the window switching to fullscreen and back 
works fine however, the video is not centered, but on the top of the window.
When started with fs the window does not handle any input events, so switching
to normal window size isn't possible at all. The window is still not centered.
