Hi,
> Any comments, does it work?
It doesn't. Test file: Band of Brothers, without -forceidx:
- Seeking forward works mostly, but there are points where it drops back
to the start of the file (!).
- Seeking backwards works often, but there are points where it toggles
between positions. Example: I'm at 2:50, seek -10, I get dropped to
2:40, I seek -10 again, I get dropped to 2:50. Repeat.
With -forceidx:
- Seeking forward works mostly, but there are points (at 11:10) where it
drops back to the start of the file (!) if I seek +10. Seeking +60 at
this point works, though. Same at 19:21.
- Seeking backwards works perfectly.
As long as the forward seeking is not fixed I won't apply it. If you
have to rewrite whole parts of the damn demuxer.
If you want the complete file for testing just shout. But I guess this
should be reproducable with other files as well.

If Darl McBride was in charge, he'd probably make marriage
unconstitutional too, since clearly it de-emphasizes the commercial
nature of normal human interaction, and probably is a major impediment
to the commercial growth of prostitution. - Linus Torvalds
