Hello
I made a patch that optionally lets the user impose an output fps on
mplayer. With this, mplayer tries to "fit" the input video to a given
fps much like mencoder does. This allows one to use inverse telecine
filters or divtc in real time and have the correct output framerate,
thus avoiding the ugly flickering one gets with the current version.
The usage is very much like the one for mencoder, ie:
mplayer -ofps 23.976 -vf divtc incorrect_ivtc.avi
