I happen to have just such a script.  I've used it to re-encode
thousands and thousands of videos.  Maybe it'll work for you.

It could use some cleaning up...  Some options (some people will want
to change) are hard-coded...  And it's not quite as flexible as I'd
like.  Actually, the more I describe it, the more it sounds like
everything else in TOOLS/  :-)

If you encode to vorbis audio with my script, it runs "vorbisgain" by
default.
