[MPlayer-dev-eng] Bugzilla: make it usable now!

Heya,

next "report".

I've been searching the web for more bug trackers that can be conrolled
via email as well as via a web interface and found RT (request
tracker). Installation is easy enough as there are Debian packages. It's
nice, too, but it has two drawbacks:

1. Each user has to be registered. By the administrator. Users cannot
register themselves like they can with Bugzilla and others. Not nice
IMHO. We could craete a "anonymous" account, but that way we'd lose
the information about who submitted that bug. The person in question
could leave his email in the CC field, of course, but I really don't
like it. (Gnats has the same problem if I'm not mistaken.)

2. The "bug reports" don't have fields for severity, priority (at least
not in the way we would want it), OS and architecture. These are
   must-haves, so RT is a no-go, too :(

If Darl McBride was in charge, he'd probably make marriage
unconstitutional too, since clearly it de-emphasizes the commercial
nature of normal human interaction, and probably is a major impediment
to the commercial growth of prostitution. - Linus Torvalds
