[MPlayer-dev-eng] modular ./configure

Hi,

What about breaking up ./configure to smaller parts ?
The idea is not new, it was already started for G2 a year ago,
and it was welcomed by some developers on IRC.
Maybe it can be / should be done in G1 tree too?
I've done a quick hack, splitting up g1's configure from cvs:

Iive also said on IRC that he's interested working on a
modular ./configure system.
