I do have an AMD-64 box, but I can't test this patch for it a pure 64
system, I don't have 32-bits compilers installed.... but I'd like to
point out that to the best of my knowledge, building a 32-bits MPlayer
on a 64-bits AMD-64 system allows the use of binary only codecs (I
don't know how many still don't have an open implementation... I'd
assume, just a few....)

Now, whether or not this solution is the way to go, I truly don't know.
