IMO that's not stupid. It could be very useful for kiosk type setups.
Also it's nice even with single-file non-slave because the final frame
will remain visible after the movie ends (something people have
requested a lot). (BTW there's a bug in this with vo_mga -- it flips
page back to the second-to-last frame when the movie ends! :( )
