Hello Mplayer Developers.

I would like to offer a reward of $1500 for a feature to be added to the next release of Mplayer.

The reward will be split as follows:

$750 for the actual developer(s) of the patch.
$750 to the Mplayer team to be used as they see fit.

The feature I would like to see is the dvdnav patch or equivalent, i.e. a patch that provides access to DVD Menus that 
can be controlled via gmplayer GUI and in text mode (mplayer).

Rules: - There is only 1 rule :)

1. Your patch must be accepted by the mainstream Mplayer developers as been the preferred method to support DVD menus.

The purpose of this reward is to provide focus and an incentive to those developers capable of adding and supporting a 
dvd menu patch for Mplayer.

I am aware that there is currently a patch "dvdnav" which is not excluded from this reward as long as it complies with 
the above rule.

I'm prepared to provide funds directly to the Mplayer Team up front immediately and let them manage and decide on any 
specific rules/requirements and the winner of the reward.
