Yes, results of multiplication are not rounded, they were before in
fixed-point mode. Though quality is with this patch the same as in a
"normal" windows build of libfaad, I only ported the assembler to gcc
syntax and made the C-only macros fit that.
No idea how quality compares to floating-point mode.
