Since when does Qt4.1 contain a file named libqt-mt.so.3.3.6?
The whole point of Qt4 is that it is more lightweight than Qt 3.x

Yes 16MByte are a typical size of qt4-devel packages.

mencoder-gui will probably never become a program so complex that it would 
need hours to compile it. Even if it would need 100% more minutes to 
compile I'm fine with it as long as it enables the autor to produce better 
code in less time.
