Drop those two, they were superceded by the ones in this thread:
    [PATCH] Implement stride support in ve_raw and    vf_vo wrapper

For tracking purposes, you can drop the ones in that thread as well, 
since subsequent discussion proved them to be incorrect, but the issue 
remains open and I need feedback (in that thread) to turn them into 
something acceptable.
