Wow, it really works! Nice. At least choosing audio and subtitle
languages and picking up episodes works.
However, colors are still wrong. Two more details.
I said that text is grey with xvidix. Looks like I was wrong. I see
blue-colored area (should have been pink) above the real text. Like, in
the middle between text and top of the window there is a blue areola
which should have actually be around the text. Looks like you are
writing correct bytes into the wrong memory location and even in the
wrong chroma plane.
However, with some buttons look even more strange. I see random green
and blue bars around the screen upon selecting them.. when it should
have been the same pink areola.
And another small bug: when I called menu from the movie with -vo x11, I
can see the pink areola instantly, while it should have been seen only
after the buttons actually appeared. (and I can't even navigate yet,
"DVDNAV navigation error: New position not yet determined.") It surely
looks strange and doesn't happen when menu is played for the first time
and even when I force menu restart in the middle of the menu.
With -vo xvidix, I can see that both chroma and luma parts of text
areola behave like this (since luma is always in the correct place and
chroma always isn't).
Also, when I said "it works with -vo gl2", I forgot to mention that it
actually doesn't.. Well it does with simple "gl2", but the real point of
gl modes right now is using hardware yuv conversion, like gl2:yuv=1 for
nvidia cards and yuv=3 for ati cards. I just get "Color SPU does not
support this vo!" message in -vo gl2:yuv=3 mode.
