If you don't use it I assume nobody does.
So while we're at it, why not go over the complete list of files in
TOOLS/ ..
- gltest.c
see above
- alaw-gen.c
Related to the discussion about whether we need a separate alaw/ulaw
decoder. If we don't then we can remove this one.
- 302m_convert.c
360m_convert.c
Hmm, Reimar?
- bios2dump.c
mem2dump.c
Hmm. How is this related to multimedia in any way? Are they useful?
- cpuinfo.c
This one should likely go in the top level directory.
- edgedetect.fp
emboss.fp
What are these (undocumented) files anyway? Reimar?
- w32codec_dl.pl
We distribute all necessary codecs, I don't see what this is good for.
- aconvert
Didn't we fix MEncoder to handle audio-only files some time ago?
- png2raw.c
Used by .raw file creators, should be obsolete now.
- x2mpsub.sh
sws-test
fastmem.sh
perlbench.pl
menc2pass
mp.pl
Trivial shell or Perl scripts, can be removed IMO.
- install-w32codecs.sh
Taken from the official Debian package, useful, should be kept.
- checktree.sh
mphelp_check.py
asfinfo.c
movinfo.c
avi-fix.c
vivodump.c
dump_mp4.c
fastmemcpybench.c
bmovl-test.c
Development-related stuff, likely still useful.
- divx2svcd
dvd2divxscript.pl
calcbpp.pl
countquant.pl
encode2mpeglight
mencvcd
vfw2menc.c
wma2ogg.pl
plotpsnr.pl
psnr-video.sh
qepdvcd.sh
various encoding tools, likely useful
- midentify
mpconsole
mplmult.sh
small MPlayer tools, likely useful
- avisubdump.c
subedit.pl
subrip.c
subsearch.sh
vobshift.py
various subtitle tools, likely useful
