I might be wrong of course but i belive this is the right list. This is not
"user unable to compile because of some screwed system or stupid command line
option". No offence =o)
I've been compiling mplayer for my own for some years or so. I believe that
this error i got points to some bugs/undocumented features of either build
system or sources.
I'm on x86_64 system and configure properly warns me about .dll files not
supported on my platform (in first try i used --disable-win32dll). I assume
wine stuff is used to access those .dlls (i honestly don't see any other
reason wine could be used). I've tried couple of times to build it and all
of this fails with exactly the same message.
To put it simple can some of devs on x86_64 system get sources and do simple
./configure
make
round and see if it works.
Output from ./configure and from make is avaialable at
http://www.plukwa.net/~jedi/mplayer/temp/
Let me know if there is anything other i can help with.
Also please don't cc: me. I'm subscribed to the list. TIA
