That is a difficult question. Firstly, the screensaver stuff was
supposed to be optional, but I think we only have an option for the
XScreenSaver.
Now to the real problems with it:
1) when MPlayer crashes, the screensaver will stay disabled, which is
related to
2) Obviously an inactive window is not supposed to disable the
screensaver, so this forcibly overrides a concious decision the
Operating System developers have made, which normally would be a
really bad thing - on the other hand it is Windows after all...
I don't have much of an opinion, but a solution that does not work right
when MPlayer crashes should be optional.
