works for me, BUT:

I usually start my DVDs with -slang en -alang en -forcedsubsonly, but
apparently the current version (with the patch) always show the
subtitles, only pressing Shift+F twice brings them in the correct
ForcedSubsOnly state.

Even without the patch, some DVDs (mainly from Paramount) did show the
subs all the time.

So it seems all we need is a mechanism to make sure the forcedsubs state
is also observed on startup, and there's almost all well for the DVD
subtitles (although a backwards toggle in the subtitle list, as
suggested yesterday, would also be nice).

The older problem, that subs did disappear after chapter breaks with
dvdnav is also no more there...
