[MPlayer-dev-eng] [PATCH] Multi-code events get LIRC input out of sync

Hi all,

attached is a patch I've been using for a few months in my
personal MPlayer Debian package.

I submitted it to Debian bug tracker last November (#505985),
and the only reaction I got was Diego Biurrun's advice that it
needs be submitted upstream to ever get in.  The patch is still
applicable to the current SVN trunk, so here goes.

The problem and the solution are detailed in the header of the
patch itself.
