[MPlayer-dev-eng] 1.0rc3 release

Hi,

So, what is the current status of 1.0rc3 release?
This branch is getting older and older daily.

Maybe new branch should be created and released sooner without so 
overwhelming testing? It is never possible to fix all bugs and even 
to test on all possible architectures and hardware configurations, 
but new release will reveal existing problems and should improve 
development.
