Not really, I don't see a point in dropping it for the purpose of dropping
it, and sometimes fixing the issues it causes reminds us of some features
that were actually _only_ available in gmplayer but never in MPlayer
(VCD track switching).
Right now I don't see a real cost in keeping it, slowly squezzing out remaining
users via rot.
If you want to raise awareness, you might change the --enable-gui to
--enable-deprecated-gui or such?
