Can I somehow motivate you to revive that thread?
At least send your latest version, possibly addressing the remaining
comments?
I know it is a long and tedious process to get it in, but several people
have interest in this, and I think your patch is so far the best by far.
I am not willing to skip a thorough review because of this, but I can
try to find some time to do some "cleanup" things myself if that would
motivate you to push it more and possibly maintain it in the long term.
