Yes.  My current process depends on lsdvd and lsdvd is the first tool that hung.

Reworking lsdvd to use libdvdnav would require a major rewrite and
when I recently contacted the author, he stated he was no long
interested in maintaining it and suggested I take over.  Instead I
decided to investigate using mplayer -identify.
